Health is wealth, and everyone knows with a few decades of life, The better you feel, the more you can actively participate in and enjoy your life. When you’re emotionally and physically healthy you can say yes to more work.
Everything in life suffers when you have a lack of good health. Concentration on studies and work is much more difficult at this time. We may lag behind in every field of work. We may feel overwhelmed as a result of stress. So, we must priorities our health to succeed in all aspects of our life.
Physical and mental health issues are frequently intertwined. We may experience headaches as a result of stress. Panic might make you feel like you’re having a heart attack. Surgery that has been postponed for a long time may provide relief from bodily discomfort as well as concern and anxiety.

Our health care system has long divided physical and mental health care, despite the fact that we experience mental health symptoms throughout our entire bodies. This fragmented system is renowned for being difficult to manage, resulting in unmet needs and poor health results.
Around roughly 20% of adults in United States suffer from mental health each year. And millions of people in the United States suffer from both mental and physical illness. People with serious mental illness do, unfortunately, die earlier than those without mental illness, but the vast majority of these fatalities are caused by chronic physical problems such as hypertension, infectious diseases cardiovascular, respiratory, diabetes, and hypertension.

How COVID19 Affected Mental Health In US

Every year surveys conducted related to health issues. Survey conducted for Pakistan and US general population by World Health Organization (WHO) in 2021 that around 42% of Pakistan’s population have mental health problems during lockdown in Covid19 pandemic whereas 52% of US population reported clinically significant depression due to financial problems in pandemic.
According to the latest research, significant rates of depression continued and even intensified from the start of the COVID-19 pandemic until 2021.
When Corona Virus pandemic hit in 2020, depression among adults in the United States tripled, rising from 8.5 percent before the epidemic to 27.8 percent. In 2021, the rate had risen to 32.8 percent, affecting one out of every three adults in the United States. This study published in journal “The Lancet Regional Health- Americas”.
Mental health sufferings due to COVID19 are widely observed. Lockdown during pandemic create chaos, fear, sense of insecurity and stress in societies. In Pakistan many people lost their jobs due to this they are very tensed and depressed. But now this is reduced due to decrease level of corona virus cases in Pakistan.
Your whole psychological wellbeing referred to as “mental health”. It involves your self-esteem. The quality of your relationships, and your ability to control your emotions and deal with problems.

How You Improve Your Mental Health?

Here are some reasons to make your mental health is a top priority.

Control Stress Level

Controlling stress levels can also be achieved by adopting a healthy lifestyle. Physical activity reduces blood pressure and hormone levels that can trigger the stress response. Aerobic exercise also boosts breathing and heart rate, which helps to oxygenate the blood and relieve muscle tension. Work up a sweat. After that, you’ll feel a lot better.

Exercise Regularly

Exercise is beneficial to both our physical and mental wellbeing. Endorphins, which have mood-boosting effects, are released when we exercise. Exercise can help you feel better in general and boost our mood. It can also aid in the reduction of tension and anxiety.

Do which makes you happy

As it is very important to recognize yourself, recognize your importance. Do whatever you want to do in your life done things which makes you happy. Feeling good is very important. One of the important strategies to calm your nervous system and decrease stress is to engage with someone who cares for you, who listen to you.

• Participate in activities that makes you feel valuable
• Spend quality time with those that matter to you
• Taking care of others who cares for you it also adds meaning to your life

Value Yourself

Treat yourself with kindness, respect and avoid self-criticism. Give time to your favorite projects and interests or widen your horizons. Playing games, start a garden, learn to dance, give time to your hobbies.

Physical and mental health both are interlink when you taking care of your physical health it will improve your mental health.
Being Physically Active. Exercise can help you to reduce stress and depression while also improving your mood.

Getting Enough Sleep is Important

Getting enough sleep is Important. Sleep has directly related to your mood. If you can’t get enough sleep, you will be furious and more irritable whole day. A lack of quality sleep can make you more prone to get depressed in the long run. As a result, it’s critical to maintain a consistent sleep schedule and receive enough quality sleep each night.

Healthy Eating is Also Important for Mental Health


Good diet can not only help you feel better physically, but it can also help you feel better mentally and reduce anxiety and tension. If you may not get enough nutrients, it will not only affect your mental health but also your physical health.
